After a long preparation time in new zealand and hintertux the season kick off took place in antwerp/belgium.

The “old” guys battled themselves in qualification heat 1.
Clemens made it straight up to the finals. Adi and Much took the detour over the semifinals.

Unfortunately their battle was over in a high-level semifinal show. But great jumps boys!

Clemens re-entered the comp in the superfinals.
Switch backside 12 and bs double 10 with awesome style and amplitude ranked him on 2nd place right behind local hero seppe smits!

Congratz to the team!

A short summer brake the austrian snowboard freestyle team took a journey to new zealand.
Warm up and progression were the goal for the first snow camp.

After a tough and cold season the team refilled their batteries in portugal.
Toby from na onda hosted us with cozy surroundings and awesome food.
Two daily surfsessions were the strenous part of that camp.
Relaxing, running, stretching.. Daily routine

Lots of good waves and fun stayed in our mind.
All of us now tuned in for the upcoming season!

Last weekend the austrian masters Big Air were held in styria.
A great event kicked off the season ending period.
Big air show-DJ set up-crowds and a concert by SIDO are just a few cornerstones of this gathering.

Michael “much” Macho crowned himself as the old new champ.
A good after party was a great place for a season ending party.

WSC 2011 Oslo recap:

Big booters, flat landings, helicopter follow cams, spending tons of money, friendship wildcard system but lots of fun too.

Adi had a good comp. stomped his runs and ranked after quail round two.

Jo had showed his best riding..unfortunately the pipe level grew till insanity..almost impossible to stay competitive…

All over it was a great experience, for us riders and team managers, but for the organizers too ;-)

Today the pre qualification at the WSC in oslo in slope went down.

The riders battled split in three heats for hot spots into the next round.

Adi made it straight threw with a third place in his heat.

Right now all of them are spread out all over austria hustling from trainings to shootings and back, enjoying the epic powder conditions and getting ready for the final contests of 11/12.

Only Pia Meusburger is left at home trying to recover from her third knee injury by following a hard physical workout schedule.
